ಸುಖಭರಿತ ಪಾಪವೊಂದೆಸಗಿದೆ ನಾನು
ಉರಿವ ಬೆಚ್ಚಗಿನ ಆಲಿಂಗನದಲ್ಲಿ
ಪಾಪವೆಸಗಿದೆ ನಾನು ಬಿಸಿ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಂತ
ಬಾಹುಗಳಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದಿದ್ದಾಗ.

ಆ ಕತ್ತಲ, ಶಾಂತ ಏಕಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ
ನಾನವನ ಗುಟ್ಟಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಇಣುಕಿದೆ.
ಅವನ ಅಗತ್ಯ-ಭರಿತ ಕಂಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ
ನನ್ನ ಚಂಚಲ ಹೃದಯ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.

ಆ ಕತ್ತಲ, ಶಾಂತ ಏಕಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ
ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದೆ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಪಕ್ಕ ಕೆದರಿದ ಕೂದಲಲ್ಲಿ
ಅವನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಸುರಿದವು ಕಾಮನೆಗಳ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ
ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಪಡೆದೆ ನಾನು.

ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಯೊಳಗುಸುರಿದೆ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಕತೆಯ
ಬಯಸುವೆ ನಿನ್ನ, ಓ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಳ ಸಂಗಾತಿಯೇ
ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವ ತುಂಬುವ ಆಲಿಂಗನವ
ಓ ನನ್ನ ಹುಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೇಮಿಯೇ.

ಬಯಕೆ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಡಿಯೊಂದ ಹೊತ್ತಿಸಿತು;
ಬಟ್ಟಲಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯ ನರ್ತಿಸಲು ತೊಡಗಿತು.
ಕೋಮಲ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ದೇಹ
ಅವನೆದೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಉನ್ಮಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.

ಸುಖಭರಿತ ಪಾಪವೊಂದೆಸಗಿದೆ ನಾನು
ನಡುಗುವ, ಸ್ತಬ್ಧ ಆಕಾರದ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು ನಾನೇನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ
ಆ ಕತ್ತಲ ಶಾಂತ ಏಕಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ.

I sinned a sin full of pleasure,

I escaped from the sorrow of my crazed heart.

O crazed lover of mine, you.

desire sparked a flame in his eyes;
the red wine danced in the cup.
In the soft bed, my body
drunkenly quivered on his chest.

I sinned a sin full of pleasure,
next to a shaking, stupefied form.
o God, who knows what I did
In that dark and quiet seclusion.
