ಈ ಕಸ ಹೇಗೆ
ಬಿತ್ತೋ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ
ಕಣ್ಣಿಂದ ಇಳಿವ
ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ಹನಿಗಾಗಿ
ಕಾಯುತಿರುವೆ
ಕರವಸ್ತ್ರದ ತುದಿ
ಸೆರಗಿನ ಚುಂಗು
ಉಫ್..ಅಂತ
ಊದಿದ ಮಗಳ ಉಸಿರು
ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಿಗದೆ
ಅವಿತು ಕಾಡಿಸುತಿದೆ

ತುಂಬಿದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ
ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದೂ
ಒಂದು ಅನುಭವ ತಾನೇ
ಹೀಗಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಲೇ
ಕನ್ನಡಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದು
ಮನಸ ಓಲೈಸಲು
ಹೆಣಗುತಿರುವೆ

ಈ ನಶ್ವರ ಬದುಕಲ್ಲಿ
ಪ್ರತಿ ಘಳಿಗೆಯನಿರಿಯುತಿದೆ
ಕಣ್ಣ ತುಂಬ ಬಾವು
ಕಣ್ಣೊಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ನೋವು

How this speck of dust
Got in to the eye
And haunting me hiding inside.
And kept me waiting for
every drop dripping.

Corner of a hand kerchief
Edge of my saree,
“Uff” the air blown by my kid,
Nothing could get rid of this.

To see the world with filled eyes,
Is also an experience,
Thinking so,
Stood before the mirror
Struggling hard to console the soul.

In this immortal life,
Eye swelled and the pain filled
Are stabbing each moment.
