ಜೀವನದ ಬಂಡಿಗೆ
ಚಕ್ರಗಳಂತೆ
ವೃತ್ತಿಗೊ ನಿವೃತ್ತತೆ
ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಸಾರ್ಥಕತೆ

Profession – disposition
Two wheels of chariot
Called the life
Retirement ceases one
Accomplishment graces the other.

ಬೇವು ಬಾಗಿತು
ಸಂಪಿಗೆಯಾಸರೆಗೆ,
ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸಾರಿ
ಹೇಳಿತು, ಒಲವಿಗೆ
ಗುಣ ಗಣತಿ ಬೇಕೇ?

Bitter neem lent
Recourse to fragrant magnolia
The nature proclaims
For the endearment
Not to census the virtues

ಕರ್ಮದ ಆಟ
ಕಾಲ ಕಲಿಸೋ ಪಾಠ
ಸುಕರ್ಮಗಳ
ಅರಿತು ನಡೆದರೆ
ಗೆದ್ದೆ ಜೀವನದಾಟ

Game of deeds are
Lessons taught by time;
If persue the path
With noble deeds
Victory of life is there

ಗಾಢದ ಮೌನ
ನಿರಂತರ ಭಾವನ
ಅಲೆ ಚಾಲನ
ಸುಧೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಥನ
ಇದೇ ಅನಂತ ಧ್ಯಾನ

Intense silence,
Incessant emotions
Advances as waves ;
Churn for gist sets ;
That ‘s endless rumination

ಹೆಪ್ಪು ಗಟ್ಟಿದ
ತುಮುಲ ಗಳೆಲ್ಲವು
ನೋವ ಬೇಗೆಗೆ
ಹನಿ ಹನಿ ಸುತ್ತಿವೆ
ಕಣ್ಣೀರಧಾರೆಯಾಗಿ

Deep frozen,
Turmoils of the being
Spout tears;
Drop by drop ,
For the sultry agony
