ಈ ಹೂವು ಪರಿಮಳ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ ಕನಸು ಬೆಳದಿಂಗಳು
ಯಾವುದೂ ಬೇಡ
ನನ್ನ ಪಾಡಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು
ಈ ಚಿಗುರು ವಸಂತ ತಲೆದೂಗುವವರೆಗೂ
ತಲೆ ಮರೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ

ನೀನೇನೋ ಮರೆತಂತೆ ನಾಟಕವಾಡಿದೆ
ನಟನೆ ಬರದ ನಾನೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ
ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗುರುತನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು
ಬಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ
ನನಗೀಗ ದಿಕ್ಕು ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ
ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ತೋರು

ಒಮ್ಮೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಯ
ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತು
ಆಜೀವ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವ ತ್ರಾಣ
ಈಗ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ

ಈ ವಸಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳು ಪರಸ್ಪರ
ಪ್ರೇಮ ನಿವೇದನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ
ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ಥ ಶಿಲೆಯಂತೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದೇನೆ
ಎಂದಾದರೊಂದು ದಿನ
ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಸ್ಪರ್ಶವಾಗಬಹುದೆಂದು

statue of curse
waiting to touch your feet
When the lovers are making
the petition of love with each other..
