ಚುಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ

ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ಗಂಟೆಗಳಿವೆ
ಗಿಡಗಂಟಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ
ಮಾತಾಡಲು
ಆಡದಿದ್ದವರ ಸುದ್ದಿಬೇಡ!

ಒಂದೊಂದಾಗಿ ದೀಪ
ಆರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ
ಕತ್ತಲೆ ನನಗೆ
ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬುತ್ತದೆ

ಗೋಡೆ ಕೂಡ
ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ

ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಂತೋಷ
ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ

ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನಗುತ್ತಿದೆ
ಅರಿವೆ ಧರಿಸಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ನೋಡಿ.

ಗೇಟಿನ ಸಪ್ಪಳ
ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ
ದಾರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ
