ಸರಸರ ಎನುತ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನಡೆವೆ?
ಸಾಲಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಬರುವೆ
ಶಿಸ್ತಲಿ ಸಿಪಾಯಿಯ ಮೀರಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆ
ಬಾಳಲಿ ಅನುದಿನ ಶ್ರಮವನು ಪಡುವೆ
ಹಗಲಿರುಳೆನ್ನದೆ ದುಡಿಯುತಲಿರುವೆ|
ಕಾಯಕ ತತ್ವವ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರುವೆ
ಕೂಡಿ ಬಾಳುವ ಮಂತ್ರವ ಜಪಿವೆ
ಸೋಲನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪದೆ ನಡೆವೆ
ಕಾಯಕ ಕುಲಕೆ ನೀ ಆದರ್ಶವೆ|
ಸಿಹಿಯನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಸಂತಸ ಪಡುವೆ
ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ನಡೆವೆ
ಮಣ ಭಾರವ ನೀ ಕ್ಷಣದಲಿ ಹೊರುವೆ
ನಿನ್ನಡಿಯಲಿ ನಾ ಸಾಗುತ ನಲಿವೆ|
