ತುಂಬಾನೇ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಈ ಬೆಳಕು.
ಮತ್ತದು, ಇರುವುದು ಸಹ ಭಾಳ ಕಮ್ಮಿ. ಕತ್ತಲೋ
ಬೃಹತ್ತರವಾದುದು.
ಕೊನೆಯಾಗದ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಸೂಜಿಯಂತೆ ಈ ಬೆಳಕು,
ಮತ್ತದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಕ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ
ಈ ಪಾಳು ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
ಎಂದೇ ಅದರೊಡನೆ ನಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸೋಣ
ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡೋಣ.
ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಅದು ಬರಲೆಂದು
ಹಾರೈಸೋಣ.

is huge.
Just delicate needles, the light,

And it has such a long way to go
through such desolate space.
